New Release- VISITATION AT BCSO
Effective Immediately, I am suspending in person visitation at the Broadwater County Detention Center and suspending our church, NA and AA meeting in the Detention Center as a precaution to keep the inmate population and staff healthy and safe.
I am aware of the current situation of the COVID-19 in Montana, however the flu is alive and well in Broadwater County too. With our current staffing levels and the current inmate population, I am not willing to take any unnecessary risks to anyone.
The inmates will still have access to video visitation as before and people wishing to use the kiosk in the lobby are still allowed to do so, there will just not be any in person visits.
As more information is obtained regarding the COVID-19 virus and we get a better understanding of it, I will look at opening those services up again.
Thank you for your cooperation and please, wash your hands and cover your mouth when you cough and sneeze. Together, taking these precautions will help us all get through this.
